Aside from the wonderful wordpress that the main site runs on, the gallery for gonewalkabout is thanks to some fantastic software called Gallery2. It’s currently in a release candidate stage, but it’s been running flawlessly for several betas here.
Linking wordpress and Gallery2 together is the amazing wpg2 plugin. Again, still at release candidate stage but something that’s been running well enough to be a final version since more or less day one!
Really do have to say a big thank you to all those who put the time an effort into this type of thing – The internet wouldn’t be half the place it is now without them, and if you’re looking to have a site in a similar style to whats here then you can’t really do much better than chosing the three options i’ve used!
